Instructor Bruce

Bruce D. Opsal, Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) since November 2007, is an Information Technology (IT) veteran with over 30 years experience in various IT capacities.  The majority of his career has been with financial services companies.  Previous roles include programmer, analyst, project manager, IT manager, and business analyst.  In all those capacities it was the Business Analyst (BA) role Bruce most enjoyed – being the liaison between all stakeholders.

As a Senior Business Analyst Consultant and Lead Instructor, Bruce joined Requirements Quest® in 2007.  Bruce is actively involved with the International Institute of Business Analysis IIBA®.  He is serving his second term on the board for the IIBA® Greater Madison Chapter as Vice President of Professional Certification.  In this role Bruce organizes study groups and helps business analysis professionals engage in learning the IIBA’s Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®).

Bruce is a native of Wisconsin and earned an AA in Data Processing from Madison Area Technical College.  While working in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, he earned a BA with a business emphasis from Metro State University.
